Well, this week has been truly incredible. I mean, we discussed the battle between our inner critic and our inner ally with doctor Will on Monday, and we explore the healing power of music and learned about breath work and self compassion with mss Arlene Cohen Miller. But today we are going to take all of these tools and use them to break through our self imposed thresholds. But before we dive in, let's take a moment to ground ourselves and open our hearts to receive today's se message. So if you can just find the comfortable positions wherever you are in safe space and close your eyes, all right, be beauty for people. Whened you to take a deep breath in through your nose, Now hold it and release this slowly through your mouth. I want to feel your body settling into this sacred moment. Now, imagine standing before a threshold. A door way of light on one side is where you are now, with all of your perceived limitations and self doubt and on the other side is your highest potential, your truest self. I want you to feel the inner of possibility radiating from this doorway and take another deep breath in and as you excel, I want you to feel any fear or resistance melting away because you are safe, you are supported, and you are ready. And when you are ready, gently open your eyes. All right, my beautiful people. First of all, I thank you for just sharing that moment with me. And if you're new here to this season a self love podcast, it's something that we do every day Monday through Friday. It's just to help ground ourselves before we get into the topic in hand. Again. This is Thresh Whole Thursday, and it's all about breaking those limitations as well as self discovery. Well, today we're going to explore three key thresholds that often hold us back in our self love journey. The threshold of judgment, our second one is the threshold of past pain, and our third one is the threshold of future fear. You see, each one of these threshold represents boundary between where we are and where we want to be. But here's the beautiful truth. These thresholds are in walls their doorways, their invitations to step into a new way of being. So let's break down each one of the thresholds and explore how we can move through them using the twos that we gather this week. So let's talk about threshold one, threshold of self judgment. Remember our conversation about the inner critic versus the inner ally. You see, this threshold is where we meet, it's where they meet. It's that place where we decide whose voice we're going to listen to. You see, doctor Will taught us about that both voices want dialogue, that they want to be heard, So instead of trying to silence the critic, we're going to learn to transform that energy. So here's a few exercises that you can do when you feel stuck at this threshold. I want you to try this. I want you to pause and take three deep breaths. Three deep breaths. Then I want you to name the judgment without attachment, Name whatever that self critic is saying to you at that moment. And then I want you to ask yourself, what will my inner all I say in this moment? And then I want you to choose one small action that honors both voices. That honor both voices. Remember one doctor Willer asked me that question about what is the inner critic and why is it jealous of the inner ally? And vice versa. And remember I was talking about building that relationship between one another. That the inner ally is jealous of the inner critic because it feels like the inner critic always has our attention. We spend more time with that inner critic than we do with our inner ally. And then the inner critic is jealous of the inner ally. It's because when we listen to that inner ally, that makes us happy, that gives us peace. So it's like, now we need to find a way where we can allow both of them to work for us, that we can have that true inner relationship, that intimate relationship with ourselves. All right, So now let's talk about the threshold of past pain. You see, this threshold is about the stories that we carry. As I share with you on Tuesday with the reason of those two songs and how they came to me, but also what it triggered as well. It took me back to where I felt that I was unworthy, but in those songs, it told me about my strength. It taught me how to be ready. It helped heal me in that process of that trigger. But also what it taught me is that our pain can become our power when we learn to transform it. This isn't about forgetting or dismissing our past. It's about choosing how we will carry it forward. So here's some exercises for the standing at the threshold. To the place one of your hands on your heart, and I want you to acknowledge the strength it took to survive. And I want you to ask yourself, what wisdom have I gained from this experience? And then I want you to choose the other hand, Actually, let's make it back. What I want you to choose is I want you to choose one way to honor that journey while stepping forward. That's what I want to do. I want to choose one way to honor your journey while stepping forward. Now let's talk about the threshold for future fear. You see, this final threshold is where we meet our potential. It's where we decide if we're going to play small or if we're going to step into our greatness. So remember what Arlene taught us about breathwork and being present. This is where the two becomes invaluable. So here's the exercise for that. When the future feels fear holds you back, when your future fear holds you back, I want you to practice these I want you to practice the grounding breath work we learned. And I want you to identify one small step you can make take today, and I want you to celebrate that step, no matter how small. And remember you don't have to see the whole staircase to take that first step. All right, all right, So now let's talk about how we can cross these thresholds with grace and power. And here's three keys to remember. Number one, Compassion is your compass. Compassion is your compass. Let your self compassion guide your steps. Remember you're human and you are learning, so with each attempt, it's progress and it's not perfection. Next is your body knows the way. Your body knows the way, so trust your physical wisdom, use breath as your anchor, and let your heart guide your choices. And our last one is our community. Our community is your bridge. The community is our bridge, so you don't have to cross it alone. You can share your journey with trusted allies and also allow yourself to witness your growth. So remember, my beautiful people, that these thresholds aren't meant to keep you stuck. They are invitations to grow. So every time you feel the resistance, every time you feel the resistance, that is a sign that you are at the edge of your transformation. So I want to go back when we talked about changing your paradigm, changing your life in that book, and Bob Proctor says, when you're feeling uncomfortable, that is when the growth happened. But when you feel like you are comfortable and you there and nowhere else to grow, that's when you know that something needs to change. So we do have a little homework today for this week. All right, real quick, one, I just want you to identify one threshold that you are ready to cross, threshold that you are ready to cross, and I want you to write a letter to yourself from your future self who has already crossed it. And then I want you to take one small action toward crossing that threshold. Remember it's about applying. And then I want you to celebrate that action, no matter what that outcome is. And I want you to share your journey with using hashtag season and self love and hashtag threshold Thursday. Your story might be exactly what someone else needs to hear, so take their own step forward.
